  • Global School Play Day 2017

Wednesday, February 1st, Kimball Elementary Students and Staff participated in Global Play Day. Students were encouraged to share and play with friends. We felt that our students needed a break from the books, and we decided to use games to promote the importance of collaboration, communication, and critical thinking/problem solving skills. This was a hit with our students, and it helped promote learning in an exciting way! If you would like more information on this special day you can visit http://www.globalschoolplayday.com.

  • Local School Improvement Council (LSIC)

Kimball Elementary is looking for parents who are interested in serving on the Local School Improvement Council (LSIC). The LSIC plays a critical role in improving the local school through a collaborative exchange of ideas and provides recommendations that enhance education. We are currently looking for parental involvement in our LCIS. If this would be something that you would like to be involved in, please contact your child’s teacher before September 12th, 2016.

We will be looking for four specific behavior areas. We are looking for students who are responsible, safe, respectful, and fun to be with.
