Monday, August 29, 2016:  The only way to make a man trustworthy is to trust him.

Tuesday, August 30, 2016:  The character education word for the week is trustworthiness:  It’s not who you are, it’s what you do that matters.  The Questbridge  Scholarship is available online for seniors; Mrs. VanDyke encourages all seniors to apply.  The deadline is September 26th.  Seniors may also apply for the Wendy’s Heisman Scholarship @ www.WendysHeisman.com the deadline to apply is October 3rd.  Seniors need to look in their handbooks on pages 21-22 for additional scholarships; it is your responsibility to keep up with deadlines.  Seniors who need transcripts to send to colleges or for scholarships, must fill out a transcript request form located in the counselor’s office.  Students who fill out transcript requests that are not legible or filled out completely will not be processed on Friday, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!  All scholarship applications and applications for colleges must be given to Mrs. VanDyke first to have them signed and sealed.  All scholarship applications and college applications must be submitted to Mrs. VanDyke two weeks in advance from the deadline.  Seniors must be Promise eligible in the Fall of their senior year in order to be considered for graduating with any Honors.  Seniors who would like to apply to several colleges at one time may apply online for the Common Application, application fee waivers are available for colleges who charge an application fee, please see Mrs. VanDyke to request one.  Mrs. VanDyke will not see anyone without a counseling referral submitted first, NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
