  • WV State Fitness Challenge

    Several third through fifth grade students from Kimball Elementary school and teachers participated in the WV State Fitness Challenge in Charleston May 12, 2017. They were able to apply the lessons centered on the top six nutrients and the health benefits of exercise. For more information regarding this event, download the pdf flyer.

  • Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports @ Kimball

    Kimball Elementary is excited about our PBIS Behavior Program! We want to recognize and reward students who follow the rules in class and in the school environment. We will be looking for four specific behavior areas. We are looking for students who are responsible, safe, respectful, and fun to be with at school.   • Thank You For Your Help

    Kimball Elementary would like to recognize our students who participated in Jump Rope for Heart and assisted in raising more than $1000 for the American Heart Association! These students will receive awesome “Thank You” gifts plus other special rewards at school for their participation. The student raising the most money and receiving the top collector ribbon was Jameson Shaban who collected $150. Thank you to all who donated and made this event such a huge success!

  • Making a Difference for the Ronald McDonald House in Charleston

    Kimball Elementary is proud of the students who collected pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Charleston, WV. The total amount of pop tabs collected was 200,000! Landen Williams collected 55, 187 pop tabs which was the most by any single student.

    1. Kimball Elementary School 3rd – 5th grade reading and math proficiency scores will increase to meet or exceed the state proficiency rate as measured by the WV Statewide Summative Assessment.
    2. Kimball Elementary School will create a positive school culture and build positive relationships as measured by the Spring Climate survey results.
