  • MCS Summer Camp Comeback

    We are excited to announce that we have planned 4 weeks of HANDS ON and ENGAGING summer learning fun at CAMP COMEBACK! Camps will be held July 12 - August 6, 2021, Monday - Friday. Every child can select camps that interest them! All camps will be held at both Mount View High School and River View High School. The Career Exploration Camp will be held at the MCS Career Tech Center. Students can RECOVER CREDITS and TAKE ELECTIVE COURSES online or on campus! In order to assist with planning and securing materials, click on the link above to register your child today and reserve a seat in these amazing camps. *Please register only if you are certain you will send your child to camp daily. Intervention will be provided to students who need additional support in reading and math as well. All materials, transportation and meals will be provided. Safety protocols will be followed to ensure everyone's safety. You will need to register each child separately.     Students in McDowell County will have the opportunity to eat breakfast and lunch at school at no cost through a program called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). The CEP was enacted as a result of the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act and provides universal meal service to children in high-poverty areas. Click the link above for more details.
