This Friday October 13, 2017 is PINK Day at Kimball. All staff and students are encouraged to wear pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! At 2:00 p.m. every staff member, student, parent, community member, may bring a dollar and walk the track until 3:00 or later. It will be a parent involvement activity and fun for everyone. All money donated will go to the cancer society for breast cancer.
Several third through fifth grade students from Kimball Elementary school and teachers participated in the WV State Fitness Challenge in Charleston May 12, 2017. Kimball Elementary is excited about our PBIS Behavior Program! We want to recognize and reward students who follow the rules in class and in the school environment. We will be looking for four specific behavior areas. We are looking for students who are responsible, safe, respectful, and fun to be with at school. Help us emphasize the importance of these behaviors with your child or children at Kimball! Click on the link to download a copy of the 2017 student handbook.
Kimball Elementary would like to stress the importance of engaging conversations with kids. We realize that most kids are reluctant to share information about their school day. Download our pdf flyer that offers practical tips and suggestions for parents and guardians to engage their child in conversations about their school day.
