• The McDowell County Career and Technology Team members oversee the day-to-day functions of McDowell County Career and Technology Center.  Team members have specialities such as networking, security, administration, data entry, software programming, web development or data testing. The team members are able to motivate teams and maintain a comfortable and conducive working environment.

    Technology Team Members functions are:

    • Keep up to date with the changes in technical standards, technologies or methodologies
    • Carry out administrative functions in the repair or updating systems
    • Risk assessment and risk management
    • Give direction and guidance   
    • Coordinate application of software releases
    • Develop and execute company policies
    • Attend meetings, trainings or seminars
    • Work with other departments
