Our hearts are heavy as we grieve alongside the Mount View High School community following the sudden loss of beloved teacher Mrs. Susan Troutner. We extend our deepest sympathy and love to her family, colleagues, and students during this incredibly difficult time. Mrs. Troutner’s impact on her students and dedication to her school community will not be forgotten. MCS will operate on NTID # 5 schedule on Thursday, Jan 15, 2026. All staff report on three hour delay. Transportation staff report to MVHS Auditorium. Scholars complete NTID Day # 5 assignments.

January 9, 2026 RV Area Bus 172 B Hess will NOT be running. If Brushy Ridge and Stateline Ridge scholars can be at Paynesville Dollar Store at 7:10 AM Bus 2601 J Kennedy will get them and all road stops to Bradshaw both morning and evening runs. Bus 2101 Lee Ann Auville will NOT run.

This is a friendly reminder that our scholars return to school tomorrow on Monday, and we can’t wait to welcome them back for learning, laughter, and growth. Dec 22, 2025 No PreK tomorrow for PreK students. All PreK staff will participate ECPBIS Training tomorrow BOE starting at 8:30AM.

Dec 19 2025 MV Area Bus 182 Randall McCoy will NOT run. We hope families can transport students for learning.

We will be operating on a regular schedule tomorrow on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.

As always, use your best judgement regarding the safety of your child. If your child cannot get safely to the bus stop due to inclement weather, simply call your child’s school and let them know. Also, you will need to send in a note as well.

Some buses may not be able to run in certain areas. We will run INCLEMENT WEATHER ROUTES tomorrow on Tuesday. The routes are posted on the MCS website.
